What you’ll be doing:
Evaluate applications with a focus on response time, the number of applications processed, and the quality of applications approved.
Organize approvals and manage considerations to optimize and strengthen relationships with dealers.
Sustain and build dealer connections while providing education and training to dealerships about YMFUS programs and policies.
Initiate sales calls to capture applications and, when suitable, draft written follow-ups. Ensure timely and precise response to all inquiries from both internal and external customers.
Review and compute income documentation and conduct verification calls related to employment and consumer information.
Engage in testing loan origination software programs to contribute to their development and enhancement.
Perform related duties as needed.
What you’ll need to be successful:
High School Diploma Required; BA / BS degree in Finance, Business or other related course of study is preferred.
1+ years of underwriting experience, full spectrum referred.
Highly skilled in credit-decision making and thorough comprehension of consumer credit, along with a deep knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations related to consumer lending.
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, excellent organizational and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal aptitude, and acute problem solving skills.
Results oriented and possess a high level of personal initiative.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime, as necessary.
Strong proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
The pay range for this position is $54,910 to $75,775. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha’s Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
