Position Summary
The position reports to the Dean of the School of Education (SOE) and is responsible for leading, evaluating, supervising, and coordinating the placement and clinical experience process for students in education licensure programs throughout their K-12 field experiences, including student teaching. Serves as the liaison to internal and external constituents, including faculty, students, and school district personnel, to identify and maintain academic program-related partnerships. Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised unit operational policies and procedures to comply with accreditation and school district requirements, institutional policies, and academic program objectives. Additionally, this position serves as a communication specialist who creates and coordinates the communication output for the SOE. This work includes the development and management of the SOE magazine, website, social media, and other communication outlets.
