Job Duties:
Assist DE&I team with researching benchmarking and other best practices related to Employee Resource Groups
Work closely with Employee Resource Groups on various projects.
Assists with the workflow for department as needed including but not limited to routing information to appropriate staff members and coordinating flow of information within the department to help ensure productivity is maintained and tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Assists with the development, revision and distribution of departmental communications and company forms to help ensure materials are compliant, accurate and are received by the appropriate audience(s) in a timely manner.
Reviews and maintains printed stock levels of various marketing materials to ensure a sufficient supply is available as needed.
Coordinates distribution and electronic posting of forms, brochures, and letters to various databases and software systems.
May assist with processing invoices.
Conduct research and analysis as instructed by director.
Required Qualifications:
Degree program(s) / Current Status: Junior or Senior undergraduate student working towards a bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or related field
Cumulative GPA: 3.0+ GPA preferred; minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
Previous internship experience or work experience is preferred
Other Qualifications:
Experience managing internal and external relationship.
Must have excellent skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to organize and transfer knowledge to other key stakeholders.
Must possess the ability to prioritize and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Highly collaborative and team oriented, and able to partner with others to accomplish objectives.
Effective organizational and interpersonal abilities are required. Good judgment is important, as is the ability to deal diplomatically with the general public and maintain and adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
Has the ability to commute to our office in New Orleans, LA.
