We are one of the larger, more dynamic, independently owned nursery groups in London. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality early years education and care possible and look to marry the benefits of scale with the care and consideration for employees and customers alike, of an owner-operated group.
We create magical and engaging learning spaces infused with cutting edge pedagogy which are brought to life by great teachers who nurture and enhance every child’s innate curiosity, creativity and ability to be a lifelong learner. We believe that a combination of free and structured play, an engaging and interactive learning environment, and an abundance of love, care and attention provide the most solid foundation for children in their early years.
The role:
Kido now employs more than 300 people in the UK. We’re committed to putting our people first and to always have quality at the forefront of our growth. You will be responsible for honing, articulating and promoting our employee brand and offering and for driving candidate attraction activities for our Recruitment Team.
We are recruiting for this role for the first time to help bring extraordinary people into the Kïdo family and to give our employee voice the volume it deserves in the recruitment market.
You will join our Recruitment Team, which sits within our People Department and you will report into our Recruitment Manager. As a team we take care of our entire employee journey, making people’s time at work as meaningful as possible. You will work directly with our recruitment team to learn the end to end recruitment process and then be responsible for driving candidates towards Kido as well as owning and enhancing our reputation in the careers space. This role is pivotal in kick starting that journey by promoting and marketing our employee proposition to candidates at the onset of their career search.
You will lead on talent attraction and resourcing activities in the UK, making sure that we have the right people applying for our jobs. You will also be integral to building our people brand and positioning Kido as the employer of choice in the early years sector. We are obsessed with our employee’s experience and this role will be the gatekeeper to the Kïdo culture that we create and embody.
What you’ll do:
As our Employee Branding and Attraction Manager you will own the first impressions that a candidate has about Kido. Anywhere that our employee brand is mentioned, in reviews, in advertising, in social media, you will be responsible for its perception. This means you will need to be fantastic at articulating life at Kido. You should be social media savvy and passionate about exploring outreach channels for us to drive applications and awareness to Kido Careers. You will make sure that everyone who engages with us through our marketing channels has a brilliant and meaningful experience and leaves wanting to work for us. The role will evolve over time but will certainly include:

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. Therefore, it is essential in making your application that you disclose any information requested in respect of applicable convictions and cautions (including, as applicable any reprimands or final warnings). This post may be exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, in which case applicants are not entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are ‘spent’ under the provision of the Act unless the conviction or caution is “protected” as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
