Summary Administrative, operational, and clinical responsibilities for all services in the facility on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Actively manage nursing staffing to ensure safe staffing levels and budgetary constraints are met. Oversee admission and discharge functions. Serve as primary contact for the facility’s internal and external customers. Provide leadership, supervision, and serve as a role model to staff ensure adherence to standards of clinical excellence and opportunities for professional development. Monitor practice to ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting agency standards. Participate in hospital committees and the performance improvement process.
