Job Description Summary
The College of Education at Eastern Oregon University is currently seeking applicants for a part-time, adjunct to teach in undergraduate and graduate teacher licensure and certificates programs.
Candidates should demonstrate:
* Commitment to quality teaching,
* Effectiveness in applying technology to teaching K-12 grade level.
* Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, and administration.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Possess a background in working with students with needs and barriers.
* Have training in Foundations of Education
* Understand planning and assessment and curriculum
* Be able to help build rapport with the students in the courses they teach
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities will vary depending on the specific course the adjunct instructor is qualified to teach.
Required Qualifications
* Master’s in education with emphasis in curriculum and instruction.
* Three years teaching experience
* Current Teaching License
* Valid work authorization documents are required
* Satisfactorily complete a background check
Preferred Qualifications
* Teaching and or learning through an online learning management system
* College teaching experience in K-12 Teacher Education Preparation Program
