What You’ll Do:

Talent Acquisition Management:

• Manage the Company’s Employer Brand.
• Assist leadership in the ongoing development and reinforcement of a differentiated employer brand based on the unique culture and values of the Company.
• Build and develop a constructive presence on job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
• Write, manage, and update job requisitions/job descriptions.
• Manage the Company’s applicant tracking system, ensuring efficient use and continuous improvement.
• Personally lead and execute management-level recruiting for both of our operating businesses.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators such as time to fill, turnover, and promotion rates.
• Conduct wage, salary, and benefit benchmarking research and report findings/make recommendations to company leadership on compensation strategy.

Culture Ambassador:

• Oversee and continually improve the onboarding and orientation process, ensuring employee engagement and legal compliance.
• Assist in the implementation of the Company’s learning management system, including the development of training plans to support strategic objectives, individual training courses, and documentation of policies and SOPs.
• Plan, develop, and personally execute staff engagement strategies.
• Act as a liaison between leadership, line managers, and staff on sensitive employment matters.
• Advise company leadership on employment policy compliance through engagement with outside counsel.
• Attend/conduct/oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Ensure efficient delivery of employee benefit programs.

Performance Management:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of development roadmaps for frontline staff.
• Oversee the management-level performance roadmap program, coaching both reviewers and reviewees.

Compliance:

• Advise company leadership on employment policy compliance through engagement with outside counsel.
• Advise leadership on policy implementation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Administration to ensure proper execution of payroll, benefits, and administrative programs.
• Manage the employee handbook and ensure proper dissemination.
• Manage and update HR SOPs.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in general management in a high-growth, global, entrepreneurial setting. They must have excellent people and communication skills and a strong presence to represent the organization and interact with all levels of staff. The candidate should be passionate about their work, be a self-starter with a bias for action, and naturally collaborative. While no one candidate will embody all the qualifications enumerated below, the ideal candidate will possess many of the following attributes and experiences:

• 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience developing effective programs to support professional staff, ideally in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience leading initiatives impacting performance management, professional development, review cycle, and employee engagement.
• A deep understanding of HR best practices, compliance initiatives, and employment laws.
• Experience working for a global company and understanding global health issues would be a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and talent management systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to build and track multiple initiatives simultaneously using project tracking software (Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, etc.).
• The successful candidate will have achieved sufficient seniority, including presence and gravitas, to have been a strategic partner to influence senior management on talent issues.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with superior organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and function in an organizational environment involving a diversity of cultures, languages, and personal interests.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
