Principal Engineer- Spacecraft Command & Data Handling Engineering Manager
The Ball Command & Data Handling (C&DH) group is a systems engineering team focused on procurement of spacecraft electronics hardware. As the brain of the spacecraft, C&DH is responsible for command acceptance and execution, telemetry acquisition, system timekeeping, data storage, and interfacing to other subsystems. Ball C&DH team members are project/systems/electrical/computer/software engineers who define the requirements, develop the architecture, implement the design, and test the system from end to end.
This engineering leadership position is for a highly experienced engineer or manager who is both a people leader and a technical project leader.

Off-Site Work Environment: This position may be performed remotely, typically at the employee’s home, and may require periodic work at a specified Ball location. Travel/commute to various Ball and/or customer locations at times when not “home based” may be required.
Working Conditions:
