Design for the good of humankind.The RoleReporting to the Head of Marketing and Partnerships of Herman Miller Gaming, and as a key member HMG Marketing Team – this position is focused on building HMG’s brand by driving both growth and engagement with the gaming community across our owned social platforms in partnership with the Global Social Media team.The ideal candidate has a passion for gaming, a strong affinity for staying up-to-date with the latest social trends, gaming creator communities, esports and has a finger on the pulse of gaming culture – memes included!To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled writer and communicator, be able to hold conversations with the community and have an ability to develop creative & engaging content ideas. Above all, you will have impeccable judgement as you will be acting as the voice of the HMG brand.What You’ll DoContent Creation, Publishing, Influencer ManagementCollaborate with teammates to create content customized for each channel (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as curate user-generated content.Actively manage social channels by publishing content, supporting partners, and engaging fans and various gaming communitiesSupport cross-functional teams with concepting, creating, and executing multi-platform campaigns.Support influencer strategy, outreach, relationship management, and reporting using CreatorIQ.Support partnership activations and live event engagement.Ensure all published content is consistent with brand social guidelines and standards.Assist with maintenance and optimization of our social media management tools.Build an influencer program recommendation in partnership with cross-functional teams.Listening to and Engaging the communityIdentify trends in social media and culture to determine and inform relevant opportunities for the brand via listening, industry knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Initiate community listening campaigns and develop insights and recommendations to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.Develop new and improve existing keyword lists to pro-actively listen to and support our social communities.Develop guidelines on community engagement, monitor and respond to comments, identify high-value segments.Build positive relationships with consumers, influencers, and industry professionals through thoughtful social interactions or initiatives such as giveaways.Reporting and OptimizingUtilize tools like Google Analytics, native platform insights, and social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Curalate, and CreatorIQ to generate insights, learnings, and recommendations that will increase customer lifetime value.Generate and present recommendations that improve channel, content, and community engagement performance.Sound Like You?You might be just who we’re looking for if you are/have:A gamer – a must!Proven self-starter who likes to take initiative and is able to run with things with little oversightA bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or +3 years of related experience.Experience with social media management in gaming or for brands; ideally within a complex, fast-paced corporate environment.Hands-on experience using enterprise level social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Curalate, CreatorIQ or similar tools. Sprinklr experience a plus.The ability to interpret social media data and form recommendations to improve performance.A deep knowledge of trends in social media technology and consumer behaviors as well best practices for brands.Curiosity in what’s trending on social media and why people are talking about it.Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to thoughtfully engage with a diverse array of people and perspectives.A strong ability to manage and prioritize timeExceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.An eye for details like grammar, punctuation, and tone.The ability to be self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver.Who We Hire?
