What’s the role? We’re looking for a leader. The Assistant Director, Email, Direct, & SMS will be skilled in applying multiple channels, specifically direct mail, email, and SMS in the development and execution of new marketing programs, while maintaining and reporting on our existing campaigns. This individual must also have experience staying well-informed of current and new industry trends and best practices. What you will do: Serve as the channel subject matter authority and drive channel standard processes within the marketing department. Effectively translate go-to-market campaign strategies into successful digital marketing communications across multiple channels including email, SMS, and direct mail. Design, plan, execute, and measure campaigns targeting new customer acquisition and deepening existing client relationships. Identify audience segmentation and targeted lists to achieve goals. Complete all briefs, including objectives, design considerations, imagery needs, testing strategies, and list segmentation. Work with partners to establish landing pages and redirect URLs to support campaign go live dates.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all creative reflects most relevant/recent updates to brand, messaging, and creative content best practices. Work closely with internal members to develop a rigorous testing plan to improve list response rates and overall campaign performance. In partnership with internal data teams, monitor, track, and report on all campaign performance and provide recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness. Bring your best! What the role needs: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing advertising, communication, or related field. 8-10 years of experience and expertise in digital strategy, email communications, direct mail, and/or marketing. A creative, entrepreneurial spirit who is self-motivated and constantly seeking out and finding opportunities to drive the business forward without being told when and what to do. Experience translating the activities into measurable business results that clearly contribute to the bottom line of the organization. Resiliency, resourcefulness, and the ability to rise to a challenge – remain flexible, communicate openly regarding obstacles, and develop creative strategies to overcome those challenges.

Please note that the salary range listed in the posting is the standard pay structure. Positions in certain locations (such as California) may provide an increase on the standard pay structure based on the location.
