Job Description:
NOTE: This role is project-based for 6 months for local applicants in the Philippines.
The Project Sourcing Specialist will provide recruiting and sourcing support to Talent Acquisition Managers and/or Recruiters to shorten the team’s time-to-fill for recruitment processes with effectiveness. His/ Her tasks include but are not limited to: (1) screening and vetting candidates, and (2) cataloguing and retrieving candidate information. He/ She will assist in developing talent pipelines for assigned portfolios, especially the hard-to-fill and mission-critical roles.
The person who takes on this role has a strong interest in a career in Talent Acquisition. The person can expect to receive continual learning and coaching while serving in this role.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting & Sourcing Assistance
Must demonstrate aptitude and, that, with adequate training, the ability to perform the following tasks:
Detailed screening of candidates, including rank-ordering, to save recruiters time
Sourcing for quality candidates
Collecting phone/Skype references for candidates IF he/she has previously participated in sourcing and/or phone screening for the position
Professionally handles confidential and sensitive information to ensure candidate anonymity
Serves as an articulate and knowledgeable spokesperson for WVI from both a ministry and policy perspective when speaking with potential candidates and referral sources
Respond to candidate inquires both by phone and e-mail
Remain current on sourcing thru social media, along with business and industry related topics and hiring trends, recruiting tools and benchmark best in class opportunities to provide solutions
Maintain Internal and External Talent Pipelines for Assigned Portfolios
The person in this role will determine which candidates should be added to talent pipelines and make recommendations to the Recruiter on which candidates should be considered for future roles.
Knowledge Cataloguing and Management; able to quickly identify viable candidates from past searches, saving recruiter time in developing a candidate list for a role
Collaborates with recruiter, the Talent Management team, and hiring managers on candidate data relating to internal and external talent within portfolios
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 2 year’s experience in Recruitment, preferably as a Sourcing specialist.
Understanding of applicant tracking systems such as Workday or other similar system.
Experience in internet sourcing and management of international searches at the executive, professional and technical level.
Cross-cultural sensitivity, ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
Must be a team player, collaborator, and able to effectively network amongst all levels within and outside of the World Vision Partnership.
Demonstrate exceptional ability to screen and match candidates with job profiles.
Innate sense of urgency with true desire to go above and beyond to provide world-class service to World Vision clients.
Excellent customer service skills; a desire to help others.
Outstanding communication skills in English; primarily thru e-mail and phone.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoints, MS Teams).
