About The Role

WeWork is seeking a proactive, passionate Social Media Associate to join our Marketing team for MX!

Responsibilities include content creation with an emphasis on graphic design and basic knowledge and understanding of all major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

As a member of the Marketing team, this role will help to support and execute creative content that benefits WeWork’s business! The person will also assist the Social Media and Content teams in all efforts, including making contributions to creative brainstorms, and collaborating in the execution of strategies.

This person should have a strong understanding of visual communications and an interest in learning more about the strategy behind crafting engaging social media content.

The role demands creativity, energy, and a positive attitude combined with diligence and vigilance.

Should have excellent communication, and relationship leadership skills; sound judgment; and a passion for knowing what is on trend while being on brand.

Responsibilities:

Content creation

• Social media management for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
• Build graphics and various formats (digital and traditional) of social media content, and marketing materials for WeWork’s social channels (motion graphics and video editing).
• Demonstrate and use the best judgment to build content consistent with WeWork’s brand, with an eye to expand and engage our various audiences.
• Assist in finding user-generated content and help transform it into a range to be shared on WeWork’s social channels.
• As needed, assist in managing, and scheduling content across multiple social media channels.
• Social media management (monitoring and responding to all of our social media channels’ questions and doubts).
• Assist in organizing and maintaining social media assets including style guides, logos, photos, and videos assets.
• Assist and occasionally lead brainstorming and conceptualization sessions within the team.
• Monitor and create reports from the results

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, social media, or similar creative fields
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience creating content for social media
• Proactive, driven, and creative, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
• Passion for social media and a desire to stay current in this ever-evolving space
