Compass is looking for a Surgery Scheduler to join our East Cancer Clinic located in Portland, OR to help coordinate treatments and support the department. This important administrative role is responsible for the coordination of our department’s schedule both internally, and with counterparts at surrounding surgical centers. An individual with at least 3 years of medical office experience, preferably with surgery scheduling experience, and the ability to handle high volume time sensitive projects will find the most success.
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: East Cancer Center (Portland, OR)
Salary Range: $19.95- $28.82
**Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidate’s applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations.
JOB SCOPE:
Under direct supervision, is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and tests in an efficient and timely manner. Answers all incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
