Summary of Position |
The Biology Education Research Lab (BERG), led by Dr. Melissa Aikens, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate. We seek candidates with experience in education research, particularly in the context of survey implementation and data analysis. This position will provide support on a project investigating the resources that undergraduates use in their biology courses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and deploying surveys in undergraduate classes across institutions, analyzing data, and presenting findings through presentations and written manuscripts. We seek applicants with lived experiences and/or professional service informed by worldviews and/or perspectives about minority group status including race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, and disability and who are committed to work in and foster a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment at UNH. |

* Ph.D. in biology, ecology, science education, or a closely related discipline. * Strong computer skills and experience in independently learning new software programs. * Experience in conducting biology education research projects |

* Experience in survey data collection techniques. * Experience in data visualization in the R programming language. * Experience in mentoring students with research. |
