The Opportunity
UCF College of Community Innovation and Education is a one-of-a-kind academic unit with distinct, interdisciplinary expertise and potential for partnership with community stakehoders, conceived to address societal challenges and work alongside the community. Established in 2018, the college offers undergraduate and graduate programs on the main campus and UCF Downtown. At the heart of the college’s mission is the institutional commitment to transform lives and strengthen society by developing a unified vision and innovative sollutions to complex social issues. CCIE promotes innovation through state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research with social impact, contemporary inclusive teaching and learning practices, and preeminent service for the disciplines, the institution, and the community.
The Office of Clinical and Field Experiences in the College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE) is seeking experienced and qualified teachers and education administrators to join our team of clinical coordinators who supervise elementary, secondary, and K-12 education teacher candidates during their formal internship at schools throughout the Central Florida Community. The clinical coordinator will promote growth in teaching practice through face-to-face and remote observations, offer descriptive feedback on execution of practice and professional responsibilities as well as act as liaisons between the College and the field, promoting respect for others and for cultural and linguistic diversity. The position offers flexible scheduling. Various intern supervision loads are available.
Anticipated to begin January 2023.
