Duties
In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals involved in advising management on various functions. The work involves the qualitatively and quantitatively analyzing methods of the laboratory process, systems and mission support programs. This position starts at a salary of $94,199.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $122,459.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $122459 (GS-12 Step 10). Major Duties may include: Supporting development and evaluation of policies in assigned program areas; recommending actions to achieve organizational objectives, and future program objectives and improvements. Providing technical assistance and direct support to headquarters and field laboratory staff in a variety of matters to meet mission requirements. Planning, developing and coordinating planning management through accurate briefings, presentations and conferences for supervisors and laboratory leadership. Identifying potential applicability and effect of new or proposed legislation, executive orders, DHS directives and other agency decisions on respective headquarters and field office operations, managerial programs and requirements
