The Talent Acquisition Liaison is responsible for supporting the overall recruitment process in his/her areas of assignment. Activities include posting requisitions, screening applications, assisting with the hiring process, completing reference and background checks, advertising, coordination of recruitment events, etc. The Talent Acquisition Liaison serves as a resource to employees, managers and candidates in regards to the recruitment function. In this role, he/she interacts with all levels of the organization, Network and community.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with all talent acquisition efforts for assigned departments.
• Initiates, updates and maintains job postings within Workday for assigned departments. Runs openings reports as needed.
• Posts available positions on equest or other online sites as needed.
• Screens applications and resumes, and conducts screening interviews with candidates.
• Schedules candidates for interviews, which may include candidates coming in from out of town.
• Completes reference, background, and licensing checks on potential employees, ensuring all documentation is in order prior to initiating the process.
• Works with candidate on scheduling the pre-employment physical and initiates employment paperwork through Workday.
• Prepares and sends offer letters, rejection letters or other correspondence through Workday, in anticipation of the candidates start date.
• Clears candidate to commence employment, based on results of physical and background checks. Notifies Recruiter immediately if there are any issues with the pre-employment or onboarding processes.
• Coordinates and represents event participation with Network managers at various career days, job fairs, open houses, and other recruitment activities to attract qualified applicants.
• Works in cooperation with personnel from other Network campuses on various recruitment related projects/issues.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Standing/walking up to 1 hour per day, 15 minutes at a time. Frequently uses fingers/hands for typing, computer entry, etc. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Occasionally carries, pushes or pulls an object of up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends, kneels, climbs and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near vision.

EDUCATION:

College degree preferred but will consider experience in lieu of degree.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1- 2 years entry level Human Resources experience required. 2 – 4 years of Recruitment Liaison experience preferred. HRIS experience preferred. Proven ability to multi-task and ability to work in an environment where priorities may change daily. Positive, upbeat, critical thinker, where accuracy is demanded.
