Our client, a digitally native fashion site, is seeking a Marketing Associate to collaborate closely with the head of marketing. This position will be responsible for two high-priority marketing channels and the coordination of seasonal and promotional marketing assets to be deployed across channels. Will own all aspects of the email marketing channel including strategy development, email campaign planning, copywriting, testing, and reporting which will support the company objectives, drive top-line sales, customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation. Will manage influencer marketing, from outreach and partnership negotiations to campaign development and performance reporting. Must have strong writing and interpersonal skills along with a creative eye and be highly organized and solution oriented. Must have a passion for email marketing and influencer marketing.
This position requires close collaboration and frequent communication with cross-functional teams including Ecommerce, Buying, Tech, and Operations, offering a unique opportunity to be involved in many aspects of the ecommerce business.
Responsibilities:
Own email marketing calendar and work in a fast-paced environment to develop email strategies and content that increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and file growth
Coordinate with the Buying team to ensure emails are reflective of key investments and business strategies
Own the email service platform to optimize automated emails and segmented email marketing campaigns
Track and analyze email campaign performance on a monthly basis
Manage all influencer partnerships, from development of new partnerships to planning of social posts and assessment of performance
Work closely with the Graphic Designer to create relevant and compelling promotional marketing assets (including regular homepage updates and paid social asset creation)
Work closely with a paid search agency to coordinate deployment of new marketing assets
Analyze data to distill results and give recommendations to optimization decisions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college
Internships and work experience in a business/marketing associate capacity
2-3 years of relevant marketing experience
Experience working in a role where creative thinking, creative writing, analytical rigor, excellent written and oral communication skills and detail orientation have been utilized
Must be a team player and must be comfortable working in a less structured, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
Knowledge of ecommerce best practices and customer behavior
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
Bring an elevated taste level for Fashion with a strong knowledge and passion for trends
Technical skills: Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
Working/basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator preferred
