*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process;
· Oversee organizational budgeted headcount to ensure all positions are accounted for;
· Collaborate with managers to identify, draft and maintain detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria;
· Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization;
· Assists with job posting and advertisement processes;
· Screen applications, identify a diverse pool of qualified candidates and refer to the appropriate hiring manager;
· Prepare interview questions, evaluations and other hiring and selection materials;
· Prepare and maintain hiring processes, checklists, and manuals;
· Train and coach hiring managers and HR colleagues on screening, interviewing and evaluating applicants and hiring procedures;
· Assist with the interview process, as needed, by conducting phone screens and/or attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders;
· Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identify and recommend compensation offers, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details;
· Initiate electronic on-boarding process and oversee the full onboarding process including participation in weekly orientation;
· Oversee and facilitate all aspects of the internal application and hiring process as well as the employee referral program;
· Develop relationships and partnerships with area schools and community organizations to promote employment brand and create talent pipelines for current vacancies and anticipated long term employment needs;
· Attend and participate in career and job fairs as well as resume and interview workshops supporting prospective applicants; promote and champion careers in orthopedics and healthcare;
· Organize and facilitate internship opportunities between school and community programs and relevant departments to ensure a meaning and productive experience;
· Monitor and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and partner with software vendor to optimize utilization;
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
· Function as the lead point of contact for any talent acquisition related questions or concerns;

· Monitor talent acquisition, recruitment and retention metrics, develop reports and analyze process effectiveness and efficiency, and make recommendations on strategies and best practices based on observations;
· Assist with payroll processing and other HR functions;
· Promote effective collaboration and provide support to Benefits and Payroll;
· Additional tasks, assignments and/or projects may be assigned;
*QUALIFICATIONS*
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required;
· HR certification desired;
· Minimum two (2) years of human resources/talent acquisition experience;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms required;
· Knowledge of talent acquisition and applicable laws and an interest and ability to keep up with any related changes;
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization, and employee level;
· Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally;
· Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Flexibility to work in and adapt to an ever changing and fast-paced environment;
· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
*OTHER INFORMATION*
· This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds periodically.
· This is an “in office” position based in our Central Business Office located in Latham, NY.
· This position requires periodic travel to and between practice locations and related companies, as needed and required.
· This position requires more than 40 hours a week including periodic meetings after regular business hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
