We are currently looking for a O&M Engineer to join our team.

As an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer for Streetlighting Systems, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of streetlighting systems within a designated area. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that streetlights are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your role will encompass:

• Monitoring streetlighting systems through various software (Lighting Management Systems & Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Plan and execute routine maintenance tasks, including lamp replacements, electrical component repairs, and cleaning.
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize downtime and ensure public safety.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues affecting streetlighting systems.
• Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance crews and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of tasks and projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as city planning or public works, to align streetlighting efforts with broader urban development initiatives.

What you bring to the role:

• Engineering degree obtained from ΤΕΙ/ΙΕΚ
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the field
• Proven experience in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of streetlighting systems
• Demonstrating proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office and adeptness in utilizing various software applications
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards governing streetlighting installations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Located in Athens, with the flexibility to travel within Greece if necessary
