Position purpose:
Responsible for providing personalized guest service by anticipating and accommodating guest needs, assisting with reservations, planning free-time activities, arranging transportation, ordering room amenities and room service, etc. Maintaining and modeling the highest standards for quality service to guests checking in and out of the hotel. Posts guest room charges and assists with guest requests. Assist the sales department with group room-block management including rooming list finalization and room assignments that best accommodate both group and non-group guests.
Job Tasks:
Serve as a greeter and host for the entire hotel operation.
Maintain on-going communications with guests by telephone, email, text and/or in person, both prior to and after arrival, in order to understand and exceed guest expectations.
Provide guests with updated information pertaining to the hotel and local area.
Interact with guests during their stay to insure their needs are being met.
Respond quickly, pleasantly and efficiently to all guest calls and inquiries.
Record and deliver messages and wake-up calls to guests.
Maintain effective working relationship with housekeeping staff to reconcile rooms’ status.
Complete check-ins and check-outs through the hotel Property Management System.

Qualification Standard
Education:
High school diploma required. Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in related field (i.e.: Hotel Management, Business Management) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of (1) year hotel/resort experience.
Minimum of (1) year hands on experience with front office operations
Completion of MBH Concierge Certification Program
OnQ experienced preferred but not required
Licenses or Certificates:
