Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Private Equity Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a senior executive with decades of experience in finance, particularly within Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our investment strategy, providing strategic counsel to portfolio companies, and driving value creation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
– Provide expert financial and strategic advice to inform investment decisions and drive portfolio company growth.
– Advise on due diligence efforts to evaluate potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
– Develop and advise on comprehensive M&A strategies to optimize portfolio company performance and drive value creation.
– Collaborate closely with portfolio company management teams to identify growth opportunities, streamline operations, and enhance profitability.
– Advise on operational improvements and implement best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across portfolio companies.
– Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, executives, and investors, to identify potential investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.
– Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform investment strategies and drive innovation.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on Private Equity & M&A (preferably but not necessarily within the technology sector).
– Proven track record of success in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the technology industry.
– Deep understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and investment principles.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
– Exceptional analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and formulate actionable recommendations.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
– Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving transformative change.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Location and Compensation:
This is a part-time, contract, remote position with flexible working hours. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
