As a Software Engineering Manager with PHP expertise, you will be joining an innovative, high-growth, B2B SaaS startup. Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
2. Implement best practices for software development, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to design specifications.
3. Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and prioritize software requirements and user stories.
4. Oversee the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
5. Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the development process.
6. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
8. Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improve our software solutions.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PHP.
3. Proven experience in the B2B SaaS space, LAMP, PHP, Terraform, AWS, and PHP7.
4. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team of software engineers.
5. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
9. Proven ability to manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
