The Customer Service Representative provides the best possible customer satisfaction to Guhring’s customers by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems to coordinate accurate and prompt service between customers, sales, production and management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
1.Receive incoming customer telephone calls, fax and e-mail order entry information. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers. Address and resolve customer inquirys and complaints.
2.Provide price quote and delivery information for incoming orders and for phone, email, fax and website inquiries.
3.Enter customer purchase orders. Create sales order and production order. Send order confirmation to customer.
4.Prepare all assigned reports and correspondence accurately and on time, to include service log, open work orders, maintenance agreements, warranty work, billings, etc..
5.Enter all required information into the computerized systems to create and maintain the customer database, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare documents, letters, correspondence, etc. as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
2. Requires a high school diploma and one to three years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as open orders, blueprints, and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees in the organization.
4. Must be competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel for generating written reports and spreadsheet. Prefer with previous experience using SAP software.
