Job Description
On a mission to help associates of Fortegra realize and reach their full potential. We are committed to providing a holistic- individualized approach to skill development – per department and associate. By merging innovation, technology, research, creativity along with executing the ‘art of science’, the Learning and Development Team works to sustain an associate- focused environment while indirectly impacting Fortegra’s partner- focused mission.
The Learning & Development Specialist designs and implements training programs and workshops to enhance the employee experience, improve employee performance and further advancement, all in alignment with Fortegra’s core values. This position is responsible for performing training needs analyses along with developing and delivering the subsequent training program and learning material. This position requires the management of all phases of training interventions including outsourcing and collaborating with subject matter experts as appropriate. Additionally, the Learning & Development Specialist position requires cross-functional collaboration across departments while setting and managing project deadlines to deliver results. Success in this role requires a firm understanding of company objectives and the ability to prioritize and align people, processes, and projects.
