JOB SUMMARY |

Key Responsibilities and Duties |
|
|
Research, development, and design of fluidic and mechanical systems and components related to existing and new product development, creating documentation, i.e., drawings, BOM’s, ECO’s etc., as required, supporting Manufacturing, Field Service, Customer Service, and other departments with respect to existing products, designing opto-mechanical and mechanical assemblies, and creating models and analysis using 2D or 3D CAD packages. |

Strives to make continuous quality improvements |

Familiar with designing parts for ultrasonic welding or laser welding. |

Experience with electrical packaging, EMI, EMC best practices. |

Must have sufficient technical education and/or experience to quickly become familiar with the architecture and operation of our current production instruments, along with instrument control and data analysis software to establish an in-depth understanding of the technology. Will then apply this understanding to the ongoing support of Manufacturing and Field Service of existing products and build on this understanding in the development of next generation analysis instrumentation for both research and clinical applications. |

Good organizational skills, including the ability to be flexible to changing priorities and needs, attention to detail and accuracy, combined with proven ability to multi-task. |

Ability to perform experiments autonomously, as well as with cross-functional team |

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications as well as MS Project software required |
