Background/IRC Summary: Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. The IRC is on the ground in more than 40 countries, providing emergency relief, relocating refugees, and rebuilding lives in the wake of disaster. Through 29 regional offices in cities across the United States, the IRC also helps refugees resettle in the US and become self-sufficient. The IRC provides immigration services in 24 locations in the US.

Job Overview/Summary: The Finance Assistant – NJOR is a full time, 37.5 hour per week administrative support position that assists the finance team in accurately controlling and managing the implementation of the accounting system in the office. The Finance Assistant – NJOR also is expected to offer support in providing internal stakeholders as well as donors, grantors, creditors, and other external stakeholders with timely, accurate and understandable financial information and reports.

Job Requirements:
Working Environment: Working Environment: Remote, with 2-5 remote meetings per week with the team and/or your supervisor. Possibly 1 or 2 monthly meetings at an onsite location. Occasional travel up to 5%.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirement
