Overview
The Email Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)/Service Operations team is responsible for the day-to-day support of the end user’s platform for the Bank’s global Email, Productivity, and Collaboration environment. As part of this team, you will work closely with the other platform towers, such as mobility, desktop, voice systems, email, collaboration, unified communications, and audio visual. As the Email SRE / Operations Specialist, your main tasks will consist of the daily operation and maintenance of the Email Infrastructure. You will analyze issues, request fulfillment, incident management, resolution of issues and conflicts, proactive improvements, and automation within the environment, in addition to running reports and attending meetings.

What You’ll Do
Responsible for the management and support of the Exchange environment, mixture of vendor managed and on-premises, sanity check any changes to the environments, implementation of new initiatives handed across from Engineering, and troubleshooting in-house developed scripts, in addition to performing monitoring, escalation, incident handling, change processing, firewall checks, standard reporting, monthly consumption analysis and reporting, developing, and maintaining Knowledge Articles
Follow all guidelines and controls for each process to ensure compliance and quality, and act as the point of contact for vendor supported Exchange environment for escalations, as well as the co-ordination point for projects taking ownership were necessary to ensure successful transition into production
Track the implementation of resolution tasks; collect, interpret, and respond to changes in production data as appropriate; provide regular and reliable reporting of relevant data to meet management requirements
Provide input and contribute to product or service-related audits, and ensure regular activity such as patching, and backups is completing successfully, while raising and implementing changes for both your own tasks and those from Engineering/SRE team, and producing process documentation and Knowledge base articles and “how to” guides
Proactively engage Major Incident Management and maintain effective communications with stakeholders during downtime events. Assist with resolution efforts and perform root cause analysis as needed on major incidents
Identify risks, issues and product defects related to applications and/or services and drive their resolution, while reviewing and responding to alerts generated by in house monitoring solutions and either resolve or escalate to vendor support
Skills You’ll Need
Experience in Agile and associated tool sets, as well as building Exchange servers, Active Directory / Azure AD sync / ADFS, Exchange Online Protection, and hands on experience of Exchange server patching
Knowledge and/or exposure to SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles and practice with good knowledge of Data availability groupand working knowledge of Information Technology (IT) applications, network infrastructure technology and the application of security components and corresponding interfaces
Experience with Exchange Online, Exchange 2013, 2016, 2019, Exchange Online Policy, Migration, Compliance, Exchange Online Addresses, Mailboxes, Archiving Management, and Administering Exchange Online Mail Flow
Proven experience Troubleshooting with Exchange Online in Office 365, Traded Credit Positions (TCP)/IP networking, and PowerShell, in addition to previous experience on working in Email service environment
Familiarization with software development life cycle (SDLC) tools and processes

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $78,000 to $111,800.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
