Job Description
Job Summary
Administers and scores intelligence, aptitude, achievement, and other neuropsychological tests. Provides test results, behavioral observations, and impressions to Neuropsychologists. Assessment procedures require adherence to standardized protocol. Administrative duties are also required (e.g., maintaining updated test materials, protocols, and incentives).
Essential Functions
- Administers neuropsychological and psychological tests under the direction and supervision of Neuropsychologists.
- Assembles test data and calculates statistical summaries, such as means, standard deviations, correlations, and analysis of variance; submits data to Neuropsychologists for interpretation.
- Consults with Providers regarding patient test performance and behaviors.
- Develops rapport with patient effectively and manages patient behavior
- Utilizes computerized scoring software and prepares reports.
- Prepares neuropsychological profiles of patients.
- Orders and maintains manuals, scoring keys, forms, and answer sheets.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred Master’s Degree psychology
- 1 year of relevant experience in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests (aptitude, achievement, intelligence, etc.) Required
- Previous experience working with the pediatric population Preferred
