Confidential Looking for PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – Costume Jewelry at New York, New York Full Time

Large accessories company looking for a Production Assistant at entry level or with 1 to 2 years of experience for the Costume Jewelry Division.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Production Manager in all areas of production and provide administrative assistance to the manager where needed
• Review PP & TOP samples with Design & Sales teams
• Take photos, complete all necessary paperwork to send out PP samples, and follow up with customers and factories on any issues and changes
• Write production orders and communicate all order details to factories and internal team with precision and accuracy
• Work with factories to resolve production and delivery problems
• Ensure all stock items are represented in the showroom and assist production manager to update stock report

 Requirements:

• Willing to take ownership of his/her job responsibilities; proactive, positive attitude and good work ethic
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Photoshop)
• Basic retail math skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
• Some experience working with jewelry preferred; basic knowledge of construction, plating, stone colors, etc.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

Full time in office position
Annual salary range: $38-40,000
