Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures to support hospital inpatient or outpatient pharmacy operations.
Department: South Campus Pharmacy
Hours per week: PRN (as needed)
Shift: Day/Evening, 0600-2300. Variable 8-10-hour shifts, some 12 hours shifts, for call off coverage. This position does require weekends and holiday commitments.
EDUCATION – High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE –One (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.
EQUIVALENCY – Completion of pharmacy technician program may substitute for the one (1) year of the experience requirement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SCOPE AND LEVEL

Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented and some degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.
Supervision Received: Under normal supervision, within a standardized work situation, the employee performs duties common to the line of work without close supervision or detailed instruction. Work product is subject to continual review.

Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $39,491.82 to $59,237.73
Hourly Salary Range: $18.99 to $28.48
