POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications & Events will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive internal communications strategy for Calvin Klein that will engage and inspire our associates. The focus of the strategic internal communications program is to build internal alignment, awareness, and engagement in support of the company’s strategic initiatives and vision, including business strategy, sustainable transformation and inclusion and diversity initiatives, and organizational change. This position will develop innovative communications approaches tailored to a hybrid working environment, with a focus on digital and hybrid events and meetings.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate and Internal Communications, this position will support the communications function and work closely with other leaders and departments across the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Drive internal communications calendar, planning and messaging with a consideration for all internal audiences, helping them to engage in global channels and stories that underscore the brand vision and strategy.
Ensure organizational initiatives, brand campaigns and company milestones are communicated to employees in effectively engaging, inspiring, creative and innovative ways.
Develop and execute internal events; drive a calendar outlook for the year in support of the Calvin Klein Leadership Team and key brand moments. Should be comfortable managing external vendors and complex budgets in support of internal event execution.
Support executive communications around events and brand initiatives with presentation creation, crafting memos, talking points, and video scripts.
Plan the content strategy for a variety of internal communications channels, including the brand corporate intranet and brand’s LinkedIn page.
Oversee the creation and dissemination of organizational announcements and manage cadence/timing across departments and regions.
In partnership with Director, Corporate and Internal Communications, set standards for company-wide communications to ensure their value.
In partnership with our Associate Engagement team, ideate and bring to life unique and exciting opportunities for our associates to engage with company content and milestones.
Proactively source engaging content and draft communications for monthly newsletters and brand initiatives.
Work with creative team to design communications that engage; make recommendations for improvements to internal communications tools based on insights and best practices.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Calvin Klein parent company, PVH Corp. on all of the above planning efforts, including master communications & events calendar to ensure consistency of messaging and streamlined associate experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of experience in internal communications, associate engagement and events
Experience with executive communications and working with C-Suite leadership
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships
Ability to write and tell compelling stories that ensure audience understanding
Ability to utilize metrics to demonstrate success
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including strong presentation design and analytic skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required
