SUMMARY
Manage the day-to-day operations at C Lazy U kitchen with a staff size of 7+. Maintain and promote a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees. Works as a liaison between related departments and oversees all aspects of the kitchen to ensure high standards of food quality and eye appeal while presenting a professional and positive image of C Lazy U Ranch.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; must have extensive knowledge in various cuisines and foods; must present a professional image of leadership; possess strong administrative and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis guest service; and direct and motivate Food and Beverage staff with varied job positions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Culinary degree preferred and of minimum of 5 years working as Chef/ Sous Chef. Prior management experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
COMPUTER/BUSINESS MACHINE SKILLS To perform this job successfully basic computer skills are needed.
Can operate heavy duty industrial Kitchen equipment.
