JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an exceptional creative thinker to lead the social creative team. You are a creator, a hacker, a maker of beautiful and interesting things. Someone with social first thinking and impeccable conceptual & craft skills that will create content that will find life outside its immediate remit. You have a sensibility for the fashion aesthetic and a good understanding of the luxury industry and the impact of digital in this space You are Creatively led, strategically driven and a true partner to the Social Marketing team. Someone with the ambition to create game changing work for Burberry and the creative industry as a whole
Work closely with global, regional and local leads including merchandising, wholesale, client engagement teams and local market teams to create coordinated marketing activation plans
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a creative lead for social, you will:
● Lead with pioneering ideas, for social first initiatives
● Oversee creative for bespoke social moments and Bespoke social collaborations
● Working on set with the Art Direction team to oversee any additional bespoke social capture on mainstream campaigns
● Lead the team on repurposing content and finding creative solutions to make assets work for each platform.
● Partner with the Social Marketing teams in initiatives aimed at building and rewarding our ‘community’ of fans
● Staying on top of trends on content, the use of the platforms and new technologies in order to deliver an unmatched social experience that merges innovation, brand exploration and product storytelling.
● Working with the teams on Advance Flighting of future content
● Consistently seek to push the creative for each project
● Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Marketing teams and the wider CMD teams and business stakeholders to understate the current opportunities and challenges as well as share knowledge and showcase findings to continuously evolve our social brand
PERSONAL PROFILE
● You have an established body of work that demonstrates exceptional understanding of the Social Media landscape and of creating compelling still and motion content, with excellent craft skills and a sensibility for the fashion aesthetic.
● A confident creative point of view, with the ability to listen, think and propose, at an unprecedented pace
