Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Associate, Designer will be responsible for:
- Create technical drawings (CAD) using Adobe Illustrator;
- Create styles in PLM;
- Create catalogues of seasonal collection in IN DESIGN;
- Recreate jeans washes using PHOTOSHOP;
- Helping with sampling, daily communication with vendors on samples;
- Document all information about the samples (the number of samples received, where the samples are ship, etc.);
- Filling and organising samples;
- Preparing samples for buyer meetings which entails photo documentation, changing supplier hang tags to Buffalo hang tags and sewing Main labels (if necessary);
- Assisting the Designer and the team with any related tasks
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
he ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 1-2 years of experience in fashion design is required;
- Diploma in fashion design is required;
- Proven experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a must;
- Experience using the PDM system Momentis is a must;
- Experience in creating technical drawings;
- Bilingual, spoken and written is required;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Detail oriented;
- Able of working under pressure and in tight deadlines.
