ABOUT THIS ROLE
Our growing team is looking for a Digital Analytics professional who’s passionate about analyzing digital data across web and app surfaces and believes in our mission of maximizing the value of Audible’s data by providing the right information at the right time via the right tools. As Digital Analytics Manager, you will represent the voice of the customer, measure datapoints along the user experience, and build best-in-class enablement tools and analyses that empowers the organization to make informed decisions on behalf of our customers.

The mission of the data capture team is to empower smarter, strategic decision-making across our business, on behalf of our customers through the use of comprehensive and trustworthy data. We are responsible for building the data capture products, capabilities and strategy that enable Audible to continuously deliver and innovate for our customers, through decisions that are grounded in data.
ABOUT YOU
You have an insatiable appetite for understanding your customers and are relentless in finding solutions that meet their needs, sewing the details together and tying them back to the big picture. You’re a natural collaborator equally comfortable translating business requirements into tech requirements for developers, building aggregated data assets with data partners, and evangelizing data to key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Tech, and Analytics.
You are capable of translating business problems into data solutions that connect business value. You have a high level of proficiency in first party and third party analytics platforms and data capture tools. You are resourceful and capable of diving into raw data to audit customer journeys, and of manipulating data to unblock your analyses. You know how to influence stakeholders outside your team. You have a thirst for data quality, continuous learning, commitment to action, and a relentless customer obsession.
As a Digital Analytics Manager, you will….
– Provide insights into user behaviors to stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Tech, and Analytics to ensure that we can understand how customers use our product and the value that our product experiences bring to Audible
– Act as the subject matter expert of our digital data assets, playing a key role in enabling and driving adoption of self-service digital analytics through templates, training, and office hours
– Be responsive to ever-changing needs of digital data end users, providing advice and technical expertise when needed
– Influence data product strategy by representing the use cases and requirements for digital data consumers
– Collaborate with stakeholders across Tech, Product, and Business teams to develop and execute new analytics data collection requirements across Audible and Amazon experiences on Web, Mobile Web, and our Apps
– Partner with Data Quality/Governance, Tech, and Business teams to monitor and ensure the health and accuracy of the data
– Identify gaps and bugs in our digital data, and collaborate with appropriate Product and Tech teams to resolve
– Be a passionate and enthusiastic evangelist of our digital data products

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Newark, NJ, USA
– Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years equivalent experience in a relevant digital analytics role, or 2+ years of experience + an advanced/technical degree in Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar field
– Experience with QA/debugger tools, and validating large datasets
– Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
– Thorough Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Workspace and hands-on experience with Adobe admin tools
– Experience creating data collection requirements, with a good understanding of website and mobile app implementations
– Advanced degree in Business, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar field
– Experience with tag management systems (e.g. Adobe Launch)
– High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
– The ability to gather input and communicate with many internal and external stakeholders
– Background in content/media/entertainment, marketing tech, software development, and/or internet industries
– An understanding of product analytics, marketing analytics, experimentation, and econometric techniques
