*Position Summary*:
*Talent Acquisition Specialist *will work closely with our hiring managers to define talent needs and implement strategies for building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
* Define, implement, and lead all phases of the recruitment efforts.
* Screen candidates to determine the best fit by reviewing their skill level, soft skills, experience, and attitude.
* Coordinate interviews with our hiring managers.
* Run required reference and background checks.
* Source and recruit candidates by various means to build a candidate pipeline.
* Foster relationships with colleges, trade schools and various local organizations.
* Effectively communicate job opportunities and responsibilities to interested candidates with various experiences and backgrounds.
* Able to leverage technology to locate and work with candidates on platforms such as Facebook, Indeed, LinkedIn, the company website, etc.
* Look for new ways to attract candidates.
* Will manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
* May need to engage with outside recruiters to fill certain positions.
* Some additional work hours and travel may be required.
* Other duties as assigned by company management.
*Required Skills/Abilities*
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and good negotiation tactics
* Ability to manage relationship at all levels both internally and externally.
* Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
*Education and Experience:*
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
* Recruiting or human resource experience is preferred.
* Construction industry background is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
