The role
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) who excels at outbound prospecting to join our sales team. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by leveraging various communication channels and tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify potential leads using email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
- Utilize tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Demandbase and SalesLoft to gather relevant information about prospects and effectively engage with them.
- Craft compelling email and messaging campaigns to initiate conversations and build relationships with target prospects.
- Make outbound phone calls to prospects, engage in meaningful conversations, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our product/service.
- Conduct thorough research on target accounts and individuals to gather insights and tailor messaging for personalized outreach.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine prospecting strategies and tactics.
- Track all prospecting activities, leads, and interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Meet or exceed assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as meetings set, and pipeline generated.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and industry expertise to effectively articulate value propositions and address prospect inquiries.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams regarding prospect needs, challenges, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound prospecting targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a sales environment.
- Strong proficiency in using prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and SalesLoft.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage prospects effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
- Ability to research and identify key stakeholders within target accounts and tailor outreach accordingly.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving pipeline growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
