Job Title: Brand Licensing Coordinator
Location: Mid-Town Manhattan – Onsite/Part-time
Overview: Compensation is based on experience
Report to the Director of Licensing
Job Responsibilities:
Answer daily e-mails from Licensors and internally
Submit art to Licensor & subsequently any changes/resubmits requested
Request art be sent to the production team for the factories once the design has been approved
Check pre-production sample and submit to Licensor if sample is acceptable
Communicate any pre-production comments from the Licensor
Send production samples by style required by Licensor
Document and maintain the progress of all on order products as it relates to the approval process
Work closely with internal Design and Production teams, Licensors
Work on placement grids, UPC submissions, etc. as required
Must be able to oversee a style through the various stages of the approval process from concept to production.
Must be able to work on various computer systems including Licensor sites when necessary
Skills and Abilities Qualification:
Strong Microsoft Office Suites: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel are required
Intuitive/creative thinker
Proven understanding of the retail market trends
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and analytical thinking, ability to apply general concepts to specific problems to produce positive results is a must
Strong documentation and organization skills
Excellent leadership, presentation, and organizational skills
Professional written and oral communication skills
knowledgeable in Photoshop and Illustrator
Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, product development, or design preferred
Embraces teamwork with a positive mindset
Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, the employee is occasionally required to stand (for extended periods), stoop, bend, walk and use hands to handle objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee will be required to handle materials and lighting as required during job execution. Employee may be required to move or lift objects up to 45 lbs. Employee will be required to wear appropriate facial covering during COVID. Vaccination is required. On-Site job Monday through Friday.
