Job Summary:
Halff Associates is hiring a Director of Talent Management to further devise and develop our firm-wide talent management strategy. We are seeking a leader with 10+ years of talent management expertise to conceptualize, develop, and implement human-centered solutions to help our people be their best at the firm and in their lives outside of it.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all areas within the talent management lifecycle: strategic workforce planning, onboarding, talent development planning, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, engagement, leader assimilations, culture assimilation, HR policy/employee handbook, HCM data management, offboarding.
Oversees strategic workforce planning across the firm to ensure we are acquiring, developing, succession planning to ensure current and future skilled and available talent.
Collaborate with leaders across the company to ensure a persistent feedback mechanism in guiding the talent management strategy.
Analyze employee engagement data and partner with leaders to develop action plans.
Maintain HR policy and the employee handbook to ensure alignment with firm current and future needs.
Formalize job descriptions for all positions to ensure they correctly represent job duties and are in alignment with our career planning handbook.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth candidate and hiring leader experience from offer through onboarding.
Collaborate with Talent Development to ensure learning and development needs are surfaced to TD and are fulfilled.
Re-engineer the onboarding process to provide an engaging and supportive process for new hires, leaders and support employees.
Design and implement a consistent offboarding process to support departing employees as effectively as possible.
Ensure visibility and viability of initiatives and impacts through communication, collaboration, and engagement.
Leads a team of three individuals: employee relations leader, senior generalist and HR coordinator.
Intermittent travel based on business needs and project deployment.
Based in the Richardson office with 1 work from home day per week.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree desired
10+ years of human resources experience with an emphasis in talent-related initiatives
5+ years of leadership experience
SPHR or SHRM-SCP desired
Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills
Lead with data, review and analyze complex larger-scale or longer-term challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Skillfully analyze data and summarize findings to support recommendations.
Work effectively in ambiguous situations with demonstrated resiliency, adaptability, and commitment during times of change
Proven ability to design and deliver complex initiatives
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to adapt approach to meet diverse audience needs
Results oriented, self-motivated, collaborative, and creative
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work on multiple projects to meet deadlines
