What you’ll be doing…
The Corporate Communications Team engages Verizon employees, customers and the media in areas important to the business. The team supports the highest level leaders of the company through internal and external communications, events, webcasts and more.
This position will support the Verizon Business Group.
This responsibilities of this role will include:

Providing accurate and efficient back-end support in the creation, proofreading, formatting and sending our team’s messaging and messaging from our internal clients out to various employee groups.

Support the distribution of communications through a variety of channels: MS Teams, Google Meets, Poppulo, GMail, CRM, company intranet and the Slack messaging platform.

Testing and troubleshooting errors, as well as working successfully and collaboratively with the Communications teams, IT and client groups to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Supporting email, intranet, videos, graphics and podcast/audio content. Systems training will be provided where needed to enable a quick and smooth transition into the role.
What we’re looking for…
You’ll need to have:
-
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
-
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
-
Project management experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
-
Poppulo experience, strong copyediting, experience using virtual events platforms (eg. WebEx).
-
Computer-savvy with experience using Google Suite and Microsoft office software and tools.
-
Experienced in CRM/mass email systems, including data merges.
-
Ability to learn and understand systems
-
Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Strong ability to prioritize work based on project importance deadlines

Basic graphic design, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
-
Ability to support multiple projects and clients and work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.

Training delivery and client support experience.
-
Working knowledge of HTML.
