Visiting Lecturer II/III
The Department of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy (TEELP) at the UNM College of Education and Human Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer II/III positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and serve as a lead field supervisor for teacher residency partnerships for the 2023-2024 academic year. This position will commence in August 2023.
The UNM College of Education and Human Sciences, comprised of five academic departments, is a future-oriented, dynamic professional school organized to reflect the following values: Advocacy, Building Professional Identities, Collaboration, Building School/University Partnerships, Diversity and Social Justice, Interdisciplinary Inquiry/Scholarship, and Teaching, Learning and Leadership.
Responsibilities
The Visiting Lecturer II/III Residency Supervisor will teach courses for both Elementary Education and Secondary Education programs, conduct field observations of students, lead meetings with student residents and school-based personnel, attend program design team meetings, and provide general supervision support to student residents and co-teachers.
