A detail-oriented, motivated, and independent Program Coordinator is sought to provide excellent operational support for The Rio Grande Consortium for Advanced Research on Exascale Simulation (Grande CARES). The consortium is comprised of faculty and staff from four prominent Hispanic Serving Institutions (University of Texas-El Paso, University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, and New Mexico Tech), one Historically Black College / University (Prairie View A&M), and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL).
The Program Coordinator supported by this grant will work on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week) to manage subcontracts with NMT, NMSU, PVAMU, and UTEP, facilitate arrangements with the consultants, and perform budget-related tasks within UNM while working closely with UNM’s School of Engineering, Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP), and administrators at consortium institutions.
Specific Duties Include:
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
