Definition of Class
This position
develops and coordinates department sponsored professional training and serves as a professional resource to external agencies. The
incumbent uses specialized knowledge and experience to perform job duties and make independent decisions. The incumbent may supervise
subordinate staff and works under limited supervision.
This is a professional position in which the incumbent develops and
coordinates professional training and coaching support to Mississippi school districts. The Department of Teacher Education at The
University of Mississippi seeks one (1) position for Coordinator of Professional Development in the area of technology integration and
implementation of digital instructional practices.

Minimum
Education/Experience
Education:
Master’s Degree in Education, or a related field from an accredited college or
university.
AND
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.

Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human
Resources.
