Summary
The University of Michigan Procurement Services, Procurement Operations Team, has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Operations Analyst, Senior, supporting the Buying Blue program. Buying Blue, a new initiative from Procurement Services was designed to promote best practices, create efficiencies, and maximize resources on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine campuses. This innovative outreach approach includes procurement buying reviews as well as networking and training opportunities all designed to help the U-M purchasing community support the institution’s missions of education, research, and patient care.
The main focus of this position is to enhance the customer service processes and deliverables of Procurement Services. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, improvement, and operation of analysis and reporting, information flow, and issue resolution. The goal is to ensure that the department is well-equipped to meet the present and future requirements of the university. The job involves working with quantitative and qualitative information gathered from various sources such as feedback and requests from the campus community, customer and employee satisfaction surveys, and Procurement Services’ plans, projects, and services.

This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday. As part of the University of Michigan Finance Division Future of Work initiative, this position may work onsite, remote, or hybrid (both onsite work and remotely) based on the business needs of the unit.
