Job Summary The Neonatal Advanced Practice Professional will provide direct patient care to newborns/infants in Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital (VVWH) 9 East and 9 West Birthing Center as well as neonatal patients in the Brandon NICU on 8 W and the expansion unit (10 West). The goals include providing the highest quality patient and family centered care, facilitating communication among multidisciplinary care providers, increasing educational opportunities for house staff and medical students, and innovating care of the newborn in the Children’s and Women’ Hospital Mission Statement Michigan Medicine improves the health of patients, populations and communities through excellence in education, patient care, community service, research and technology development, and through leadership activities in Michigan, nationally and internationally. Salary range: $119,643 – $184,581 / year Bonus: A Physician Assistant Neonatology Critical Care who participates in air and ground patient transports will be eligible for a quarterly bonus of $1000 per quarter. Work Schedule Hours: per week 12 Shift: Day/Night rotation, this position includes weekend and holidays shifts as required by the service Location: C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital- 8 W, 10 W Brandon Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital (VVWH) 9E, 9W Birthing Cente Union Affiliation This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Physician Assistants of Michigan Medicine, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
