Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in the Teaching and Learning
Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref. 524400), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of
renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Education/Higher
Education or a related field. They should have a strong background and proven abilities in academic leadership, particularly in implementing
an outcomes-based approach to student learning. This includes a track record of innovative teaching and involvement in course design and
curriculum development within their area of expertise. The applicants should also have demonstrated experience in leading initiatives for
curriculum and staff development, as well as contributing to the improvement of student learning in higher education. Additionally, they
should have experience in conducting and publishing high-quality field-based research focused on higher education. Furthermore, the
applicants should demonstrate a keen interest and expertise in informal learning and mentoring, with a strong dedication to knowledge
exchange and community engagement.
The appointee will join TALIC’s vibrant team in supporting the University’s mission as Asia’s
Global University. Reporting to the Director of TALIC, he/she will be expected to provide support for academic staff development in various
forms, including delivering seminars, workshops and courses; advising Faculties on curriculum, and teaching and learning innovation; and
engaging in special projects on teaching and learning in higher education conducted by the Centre. He/She will be expected to have attained
an Advance HE Fellowship commensurate with his/her teaching experience.

and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of
