Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.:
523370), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory
performance and funding availability.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Education/Higher Education or a related discipline.
He/She should have a strong pedagogical background and a proven track record in professional development. Additionally, applicants should
possess expertise or interest in any of the following areas: assessment, feedback, technology enhanced learning, experiential learning, peer
review, curriculum design, quality assurance, internationalisation, STEM education, 21st century skills. He/She should also have excellent
interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams are essential qualifications for
this position.
The appointee will be responsible of providing support for the professional development of academic staff through
various forms. This includes conducting seminars, workshops and courses; advising with teachers across different faculties on curriculum
and teaching and learning innovation; and actively engage in projects related to teaching and learning in higher education led by the
Centre.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and
medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme,
totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
