Job Summary
The primary goal of this Project Analyst is to provide project management for two career investigators. The key projects are through our Collaborative Learning for Equity and Respiratory Health (CLEAR) Lab along with the Tuberculosis Epidemiologic Studies Consortium (TB Center) Research Program. The CLEAR lab research focus is on early childhood adversity, environmental justice, and social protection & intervention. The Project Analyst will work closely with faculty, staff, and trainees in the ZSFG Pulmonary Division to ensure the successful execution of these research programs. The Project Policy Analyst’s project portfolio includes a multi-center project on childhood adversity and health outcomes, a growing environmental justice program, and a new NIH-supported Asthma Center on the exposome.
The Project Analyst facilitates research and training objectives for the CLEAR Lab along with the Tuberculosis research program through communications, research, administrative, logistical, and project management activities. Key activities include research project team meeting and agenda setting, research project coordination, research project milestone tracking, organizing research content in presentations, communicating with community collaborators, updating project websites, assisting PI with recruitment and hiring of project team members and YPAR program trainees, and assisting with grant submissions, progress reports.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% – 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
