The
role of a Dissertation Committee Member is to work with the Dissertation Committee Chair to provide timely and thorough guidance to a
student on various elements necessary for the planning and execution of a dissertation study. Dissertation Committee Members interact with
the student based on the direction of the Chair and are expected to support the student research through their specialized knowledge of
content or expertise in research methods or statistics.
The Dissertation Committee Chair member is expected to:
